4 Maternity photo shoot looks and poses!

Hi Friends! 

As my induction date for baby boy gets closer (only three more days! OMG!) My Husband and I wanted to take a few maternity photos today to remember this precious time in our life. I thought it would be fun to compile a few looks and poses for anyone else who might be taking their maternity photos soon as well. With my Husband’s job and him traveling often, we didn’t have time to schedule a true maternity shoot with a photographer and we ended up using a cheap amazon tripod with a remote for all of these photos. The first look I was wanting was something classy & elegant and I had the perfect black midi dress in mind! This dress has been a staple my entire pregnancy because it can be dressed up with heels or casual with sandals and a jean jacket. The best part is, its only $20! The second look was a little more dramatic with a white floral lace show stopper of a maxi dress! This one was my Husbands favorite look of the day. I found this dress on the Red dress website and it was not a maternity dress. I sized up to a medium to accommodate the growing belly. Unfortunately, it looks like most sizes are sold out but I found some really cute more affordable options on amazon with prime shipping. The third look is more of a “girl next door” vibe and this is this one that I was most comfortable in. I used this white body-con dress for the majority of my pregnancy and I have received so many compliments! It truly just hugs the body and makes the bump look too cute. I added a jean jacket & boots to make it a little extra fun. I loved this dress so much that I bought it in three colors during my pregnancy! The fourth and final look was just for fun. I squeezed on a pair of my jeans from before pregnancy (unbuttoned of course. There was no way those jeans were anywhere close to being buttoned haha!) and my Calvin Klein sports bra for a bar stool maternity shoot look. I can link the jeans & sports bra here but the jeans are not pregnancy friendly! The exact jeans that I’m wearing are old from American Eagle but I found two super similar pairs.
