Happy Tuesday, Friends!

I thought it would be fun to share some items that actually made my life easier during pregnancy. I’m due next week, March 16th (so happy & excited) and these are the items that I could not live without these last few months!!

1. Did you take your prenatal with lunch today? Or was that yesterday? If your prenatal’s are anything like mine, you are supposed to take three a day one with each meal of the day. At first I had no problem trying to remember If I had taken my prenatal with each meal however, as my pregnancy progressed, it became harder and harder to remember. I attribute that to pregnancy brain and working full time! haha! I used this one from amazon and I loved the ease & convenience. The container is organized by day of the week, morning/day/night, and my favorite part is that each “day” is removable from the box and you can just throw it in your purse for on the go! Seriously, this was a life saver for me. Here is the exact one that I use linked here Prenatal Organizer

I will link my exact prenatal pills as well. I really like these, they are a little more on the natural side and my doctor liked them due to the amount of DHA they have. Please keep in mind that I’m not a doctor and I highly recommend discussing prenatal pills with your doctor or healthcare provider first. GNC prenatal pills with DHA & Iron

2. Ditch those PJ’s with a waistband Girl! After I started getting a little baby belly my PJ’s became so uncomfortable because the elastic band hit the very bottom of my stomach where the baby belly was tender from growing. I tried to deal with that for as long as possible and I even bought a few pairs of sleep shorts a size up, which didn’t help just a few weeks later. I gave up and bought cute oversized sleep shirts/ nightgowns and It was a game changer! I slept better, I was more comfortable, and I didn’t wake up in the middle of the night trying to move around the waistband on my shorts!! I have now bought several sleep shirts in multiple colors and I don’t think I will wear anything else until I’m healed from childbirth lol! These amazon sleep shirts are inexpensive, cute, and best of all COMFORTABLE. Hallelujah! Linked my fave here Amazon sleep shirt

3. Pregnancy. Pillow. You might be thinking that you don’t need one.. Trust me, you do!
My husband bought me two different types of pregnancy pillows early on in pregnancy (so sweet of him!) and I LOVE one however I don’t use the other one. The U-shape full body pregnancy pillow has changed my sleep during this pregnancy for the better. I don’t know if I will stop using it after pregnancy! I also tried the “wedge” pregnancy pillow that you are supposed to put underneath your belly to prop it up a little bit in the second/third trimester or wedged underneath your back to help with back pain however this one I wasn’t a huge fan of. I didn’t notice a difference in my comfort/sleep levels and it ended up being thrown on the floor most nights. The U- shape pillow helps keep my back comfortable, my legs wrap around the side that i’m facing which has help alleviate hip pain and restless legs syndrome, and you can either use the “U” part as your pillow for your head or you can just flip the U-shaped pillow where the “U” is towards your feet and continue using your regular pillow for your head (which is how I use mine and highly recommend)! If you take away anything from this blog post, its the need for a U-shaped pregnancy pillow to get you through the late second trimester & third trimester of pregnancy!! Here is the exact one that I have U-Shaped Pregnancy Pillow

Preggie Pops| Pregnancy candy for nausea
Simply Gum Ginger | Simply Gum| Ginger gum | Ginger candy

4. Are you experiencing intermittent nausea? I had a decent amount of morning sickness throughout my first trimester and then I started feeling GREAT my second trimester.. Guess what lades, it can come back for a vengeance in your late third trimester.. Or at least it did for me. In my first trimester, I would have highly recommend the Preggie Pops candies to help with nausea however I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes in my second trimester and I had to get a little more creative with the options I had to curb my nausea. I tried everything like eating ice chips, cold compress on my head, and then I found Simply Gum with ginger! This gum truly helps me when I’m starting to have bouts of nausea. It only has a total of 1 sugar and 1 carb which has proven not to spike my blood sugar as well. A win win!! The preggie pop candies are way more fun and helped me a ton as well but I was excited to find a gestational diabetes option that actually helpsl! I will link both below. Simply Ginger Gum

Bio Oil | Stretch Mark lotion | Stretch mark oil

5. Stressed about tiger stripes? Stretch marks are a normal part of pregnancy and its said that around 8 out of every 10 pregnant woman get them. At first I was so worried that I would get stretch marks (and you know what, even if I had, so what?! They’re normal and our bodies are literally creating tiny humans.. That’s amazing and we should be celebrating our bodies for this!!) However, I have used Bio Oil every morning after my shower and before bed every night for my entire pregnancy and I have not had any stretch marks. I’m 38 weeks today! Genetics play a huge roll as well however both my Mom and Sister did get a few stretch marks during their pregnancies and I feel blessed that I haven’t thus far. Who knows, what if this stuff actually works?! Bio Oil for Stretchmarks
